Chabad is constantly sending out RCA alumni as emissaries all around the world.
The RCA plans to reach out to thousands this year with the Chanuka lights. The RCA and its alumni arrange public menorah lightings all across the world. The students and alumni of RCA will hit the streets to personally distribute thousands of menorahs, donuts, latkes, draidels, and Chanuka guides. These precious gifts bring the light of Chanuka to countless people, and are a source of joy, hope, and a symbol of freedom to all.
The program is about finding a way to reach people who would call on Chabad when they, or one of their children are in trouble, or when they want a great pre-school, but have yet to recognize Chabad as a great intellectual resource . . .
A major capital campaign is underway to build the New Chabad of the Conejo Community Campus at the site of its current Agoura Hills center.
Chabad Houses all over the U.S. have been welcoming back university students to Chabad Houses on dozens of campuses in the U.S. at the beginning of the new academic year.
Chabad of Sri Lanka is going to build the first Jewish center in Sri Lanka.
"It was quite moving," Rabbi Shalom Greenberg told Lubavitch.com, "to have the soccer delegation celebrate Simchat Torah with us, and to see them dancing with the Torah scrolls."
