Honorable Cory A. Booker, Mayor, City of Newark, NJ, with Anatol HillerPres. Premier Development, will be receiving honorary doctorate degrees at the Rabbinical College of America’s celebration of The Dawn Of A New Growth. The event will be held on Wednesday, October 24th at The Robert Treat Hotel, Newark, New Jersey

 Zygi Wilf and David Halpern are serving as General Chairmen, Andrea and Bryan Bier are Dinner Chairpersons.

 The Rabbinical College of America was founded in Newark in 1956. “Interesting enough, 40 years after our last event in Newark, we are back to the Robert Treat honoring its Mayor” stated Rabbi Herson.

 “Since our move to Morristown in 1971, we have been privileged to some 45 regional educations and outreach offices throughout the state of New Jersey,“ continued Rabbi Herson.

 The Rabbinical College of America serves as the state headquarters for all Lubavitch activities.

 Cory Anthony Booker: The Mayor of Newark a strong leader and a reformer, also known for his “100-day plan to implement reforms in Newark” A good friend of the College for many years, and a long time friend of the Lubavitch Chabad movement going back to the University of Oxford where he served as the President of the L'Chaim Society.

 Anatol Hiller: Anatholwent from immigrant teenager from the former Soviet Union to an accomplished developer and builder. Mr. Hiller is also an active member in many civic and religious organizations. He is on the Board of Directors of Bris Avrohom, Jewish Family Services and the Jewish Federation of Central New Jersey. A strong believer in the power of higher education, Hiller has been a long time supporter of the Rabbinical College of America.
