Clifton Chabad works to promote Jewish awareness

Chabad of Clifton-Passaic hosted a special event by Rabbi Dr. Yisroel Susskind on Feb. 3 and 4. The event's theme was "How to Love Your Child, How to Love your Spouse." This was in conjunction of celebrating 61 years of the Rabbi's leadership of Chabad and the 62nd Yahrtzeit (memorial) of the previous rabbi.

Friday night after services 45 people welcomed Susskind to the community at a dinner which took place at the home of Rabbi and Rebbetzin Sebbag. The families consisted of singles, newlyweds, and young couples with small children who attend the nursery school Chai Tots, as well as couples who have been married for decades.

On Saturday after the regular Shabbos services about 100 people from the community participated in Shabbos Kiddush lunch. During the Kiddish lunch, Susskind spoke about "How to Master the Art of Loving." He used different visualizations and with his sense of humor used examples in everyday life to make us understand what marriage is between couples or even in business relationships.

Here at Chabad, they work for the Passaic-Clifton community to promote and strengthen Jewish awareness, pride and identity by providing educational, cultural and social activities and services to all Jewish individuals and families regardless of affiliation or background.
