Rabbi Mendel Samuels, Shliach from Connecticut farbregens with Tiferes Bachurim in honor of Yud Shvat
On Wednesday January 19th (9 Shvat) on his way to the Ohel, Rabbi Mendel Samuels from Weatogue, Connecticut stopped in Morristown to farbreng with the bachurim!

The farbrengen took place Tuesday January 18th (8 Shvat) and was attended by nearly all the bachurim and many Rebbeim including Reb Melech Zweibel (Mashpia in Tomchei Timimim) and Rabbi Moshe Herson (Dean of Rabbinical College) |

A FARBRENGEN HIGHER THAN WORDLY LIMITATIONS
On Rosh Chodesh Shevat, Mashpia Rabbi Michel Seligson came to Morristown, NJ to Farbreng. As is customary, all Yeshivos of the Rabbinical College gathered. Tomchei Temimim and Machon L'esmicha joined Yeshiva Tiferes Bachurim in their Zal.
The Farbrengen began with topics relating to Chof Daled Teves and Chodesh Shevat but very soon became a discussion of Stories of the Rebbeim etc. etc. The central theme was how a Chosid must be able to bring Kedusha into every realm of this world until it effects his very way of living. This was illustrated especially by the following three episodes as told by Rabbi Seligson:
1) The Baal Shem Tov had to have his tailor make two seperate sizes for him on his clothes. One size for his Shabbos garments and a different size for the week. This was due to the fact that on Shabbos he would actually grow taller! So we see that as a result to to holiness of the day this would change his physical features.
2) On Rosh Chodesh Iyar 5735, the Rebbe called for a Farbrangen at 8:50 pm! At the time the the chassidim were told to start the Maamer Nigun, then the Rebbe began the Maamer and was very quickly explaining that the land of Israel and how it belongs to the Jewish People. Then at 9:00pm, the Rebbe slowed down and changed to a different subject.
After the Farbrengen, it was discovered that President Ford, was scheduled to speak at 9:00 PM. He was about to deliver a speech about the state of Israel. The president got confused, mixed up his papers, and began speaking about a different subject. So we see that what happens Beruchnius by the Rebbe in 770 effects the Gashmius of the world in a major way!
3) Often at the Rebbe's Farbrangens people would be so involved with listening to the Rebbe that they would forget all about time "It happened" Rabbi Seligson related, "that for a full Shabbos afternoons, chassidim were totally engrossed in the words of the Rebbe standing there without eating or drinking anything just listening!!!

Rabbi "Reb Arel" Serebryanski Farbrengen
In honor of Yud Tes Kislev, Rabbi "Reb Arel" Serebryanski Farbrenged in Morristown. Both Yeshivos Tiferes Bachurim and Tomchei Temimim attended.
One of things Rabbi Serebryanski related was that shortly after he got married an uncle of his approached his newly married wife to see how things were going. "Well" she replied "He's very good to me, however I realize that he is "married" to Rebbe first and to me second". Rabbi Serebryanski quoted Rabbi Groner from Australia "If you want to really know if someone is a Chassidishe yid you have to ask his wife!"
